Are your LCA bad? or why are you replacing them?

 

The bushings and ball joints are fucked so I figured I might as well just replace instead of just doing the ball joint job. Then I can refurb the old LCAs and have spares. Lol

 

Gotcha! I should have gone that route...I have moog ball joints sitting in my garage but don't want to hassle with trying to change them...

 

I would suggest against mood LBJs I just swapped mine I installed a few years ago and they were already toast. Worse then the oem I changed after 120,00 or so.

 

I'm ready for a day of truck stuff. So much house stuff has me itching to do anything truck related.

 

I'm glad you feel this way. It seems we will all be very busy this one. Hopefully we can start at a decent time in the AM.

 

I can do my stuff alone, with just small assistance with wiring type stuff.

lol, nah shouldn't be anything like that. I don't even know stuff like should the winch and cb just be wired straight to the battery?

 

I think so, but I get uncomfortable in my OCD'ness just having auxiliaries tapped onto the battery terminal. I'm tempted to do one of those additional terminal and fuse boxes I've seen done.

 

I'm the same. I'm OCD about it, but I have no idea what I'm doing. I wouldn't know where to start with those terminal fusey wirey boxey shocky thingys. Me + Electrical = bad. I hate it all.

There was a pretty damn good install write-up I had saved at one point. Seemed pretty easy, aside from forming the acrylic the guy used.

 

I feel like I'm reading Chinese even on the good electrical write-ups. I just want someone else to do it.

I need to do transmission drain and fill about 5 times to get new fluid in there and get my tires balanced and then the 1800 mile round trip might be feasible.

 

Bro...right there with you. The EE at my last job would say some shit about what all the electrical thingamagigery was in the control panels and I would go instant deer-in-the-headlights. lmao

I like to do that when people ask me about stuff I know too, so that they don't come back to me later haha
