When Madison and I moved I had my spare, one bike (08' crf450r), shelving and some other crap in the truck as with my buddy (a good 250#) riding shot gun, leaves held up great! With two bikes I'd say they'd be just fine.
Timbrens will definitely help that as well.
Yeah man JT we will go on a quick run

I had Jason @Speed Freek do this on my previous 1st gen double cab. He made it look too easy.

Yessir, about 20 of them so far. Seems to be a very common problem on the drivers side.

I'm about to pull the needle bearing...do you know how far I have to drive the new seal on? I do NOT wanna pull these cv axles a 3rd time lol. After the last time both seals leaked.

Anyone have a trustworthy place to get your taco painted? the clear coat on the fenders is peeling bad, the hood and tailgate need a fresh coat as well.

Soo... my truck is at the dealer. Had a weird noise coming from the back. Long story short, dealer pulled a drive shaft from another truck sitting on the used car lot and put it on my truck for testing purposes. Noise is gone.

Now they want to sell me a whole drive shaft for $1360 (i found one at another dealer for $811), even though the truck has 46K miles on it and is under extended warranty. Their reasoning is that I had one of the U-joints replaced by someone else after I put in a lift and they are claiming its not an OEM part so they can't warranty it. Here is the kicker - they are saying they can't just replace u-joints to test .... because Toyota does not supply u-joints as separate parts and I have to buy a whole new shaft.

The fuck kind of non-sense is that?

I'd get another u joint and have someone replace that u joint. 20 part. Might need to drop your carrier bearing a bit if you are eating through u joints pretty often. Lifted over factory height in the rear?

Yeah I had all 3 swapped already by another shop. All 3 are OEM, but the dealer's mechanics don't seem that bright. I was just trying to get them install all they own OEM u-joints so they would realize that the problem is with the actual shaft. I guess there is a balancing spring inside the shaft and sounds like it broke off and bounces around. No amount of aftermarket modifications would cause that, so I want the dealer to warranty that shit.

Ouch warranty sounds like the worst thing ever to deal with. Sorry can't give you advice there. What dealer you going through? I hear the guys like the Escondido one the best. Worst case you could get the driveshaft retubed and balanced at a driveline shop.
