I wouldn't buy unless it went through an FFL for me. I used to have a concealed, but havnt had a need for a weapon lately in the ride so I havnt renewed.

Private sale is convenient and legal. If you wanted it and wanted to go through FFL, then all the fees are on you.

That's what I would expect, to me whats $30-35 more for a legit transaction for both people since guns tend to cost a couple hundred at a minimum. Again, this is just what I prefer though unless I am friends with the person.

do you already have a rear recovery point? you could get a a hitch mounted shackle with a lock so you can have the standard 3/4" D ring on your hitch
    some ARB EZ tire deflators?
    maybe a Viair compressor?
    Caliraised flag pole mount?
    hood deflector? vent visors?
    Hi Lift Jack?
you could also pull an auxbeam / Amazon light bar for under $100

    hopefully this helps!

Dude my pops pulled that bowner in his Jeep Commander (ultimate mall crawler jeep). We were at OBX, and I was like pops...you are going to get stuck if you don't air down and you will be THAT GUY. He was like no Im not doing that, its a Jeep, don't worry.

    He went like 7 feet.

I was a little embarrassed, but laughed my ass off in the inside while I was helping him air down. After that he slowly got out of there. Old man hasn't wheeled his shit since.

Commanders are those huge heavy things, right? Doesn't sound like a good sand vehicle to me.

Yea man that's it alright. Honestly after he aired down he could of cruised around well enough. I think he was so embarrassed as he tried to go back and forth thinking his nifty "off-road" buttons could save him when it only dug him a bigger hole. Finally he realized he was done-zo and had to submit to the son's punchline. Don't get it twisted though, Jeeps are more than capable in the sand with a knowledgeable driver behind the wheel.

I had a gigantic bro diesel 38s when I was 17 and I had a similar thought "pshhh this thing is on 38s, I got this" I literally got the rear tires onto the sand before i sunk like a rock. Luckily, there was a guy that saw my youth / inexperience and pulled me out.

ahh the things you do when you are young to get laid.....:notsure:

Agreed man, we got to do what we got to do to keep the species going. Sounds like a legit ride though. Got any pics of that beast?

extremely... it was my first brand new vehicle and I put my heart and soul into that thing. haha I had many of hours wrenching and installing everything. I was in Denver and i took a new job in Hawaii and since it was "oversized" they wanted $5k to ship it out here...

I paid $37k for it and put $7500 into it and sold it for $50,000 (Jeeps sell for way more in Colorado haha)

So I sold it, and got to Hawaii and bought my Taco.... but honestly, I love the Taco more than the Jeep (and my Taco is pretty much stock for now)

The Jeep, I felt like I needed to replace everything to get it up to par (crappy halogen headlights with no projector) it didnt have navigation (they wanted $3000 more to add that) so I bought an aftermarket nav system, the sound system was garbage.... I loved it, but it needed a lot of $$$ out of the box to be on par with the Taco in my opinion.

Ah true man, when I was in Hawaii with the rents it took forever for our vehicles to get there. Im guessing you must of lived on Oahu out by K-bay? That is pretty cool that you got your money back out of the jeep. As nice as it looks, I wouldn't of thought it was that out of date by modern standards. Atleast you made coin off that bad boy. Think you will miss the "aloha" state?
