You would cringe if you saw the reject pile I have.

 

If I didn't like a few of the people I've come into contact with at mine, I'd feel much like you do.

 

Are they worthless after they mess up?

 

Pretty much. I use them for work hats.


You can remove the stitches but you're looking at about 45 minutes of lost time. If it screws up within the first 100 stitches it's worth recovering the hat or item. If more than that it gets thrown in the corner and a new one put in the machine. You lose money trying to save money.

Exactly. That's why it's trash. I don't fix hats I make them. Once and done not twice.

 

Woops, couldn't see the emblem that well. My VTX is an 04 with a carb as well. I also have a stock air box, but I've chopped the top off and added a K&N filter, so now it acts like a Big Air Kit. I just need to swap the exhaust so it's less restrictive. The Cobra slip-ons are nice, but some VH Big Shots would be better

 

I also had the design redone after that one that was pictured. That design wasn't digitized exactly right. She cleaned the letter up tremendously and that was when I started outsourcing all my digitizing. She's fast as hell and I don't have to fuck with it. I lose money sitting at a computer working on a design. Only making monies when the machine is running.

 

I need to find someone with one of those bikes and unload the stock air box and all the other crap I still have for it. I had drilled the baffle's out on mine.

 

You have parts for a VTX, or a different bike?

The stinger needs to be longer, and rounder at the top IMO.

Not to mention maybe use a bigger tube.

Stock parts off the Volusia. I sold it in 2012. Had 5300 miles on it. Got sick of looking at it and buddy offered me $2500 for it. I told him here's the keys, that bitch is yours.
