Yeah that's weird. I have a lot of cars/motorcycles and I go through Progressive. My insurance is cheap as hell due to having that. No accidents buy my wife has had quite a few speeding tickets (arrested for speeding once). But our house, pets, cars, bikes, are all on one policy so it helps out big time.

 

Ryan has a point about the woman Asian drivers.

Go down to Lee Lee's market in Chandler and enjoy playing dodge car. There is an accident or 2 every day there. Big Asian community..

 

My wife hates Valentine's Day. Hallmark Holiday. We just have date nights on other days. I'll usually do something anyway, like pick up a card and flowers the day afterwards. So I earn bonus points. Win-Win.

When my brother was learning to drive, my dad took him down to the National Guard armory where he worked and made him learn how to drive manual on one of the old Jeeps. Three-speed transmission, no synchro. That taught an appreciation for the subtleties of driving a manual. Unfortunately when I reached the age where I was learning to drive, he no longer had access to that resource, or to any manual transmission vehicles at all. I had to teach myself years later, when I was living in South Africa. Everything down there had a manual transmission, and they were all very unforgiving.

 

Yup. My 5 dogs are covered in my policy if I get into an accident with them in the car. It doesn't cover vet bills or anything like that.

Boss just hit me with a surprise review. I didnt even want it. Its been such a shit year for the company that I doubt I even get the same 50c ive been getting every year.

Once again I hit an overall 4.1 of 5. I think that I shouldve scored another 5 for one goal cause not only did I do my goal, but my bosses also.

Unfortunately you need to elaborate heavily on why I was given a 5, so "he completed my goal" wouldn't go over too well for him. No big deal tho, I cant really say ive been challenged many times here in the last year with the given exception of this WGM/SQL server. Thats been a motherfucker and they may have to cough up the funds for real training on it. Especially since its a huge part of many many Engineering firms and our customers.

Anyways, another year down and i wonder still when the big axe is coming and I get outsourced to some idiot for 1/3 the cost.

 

I've dodged the 5th layoff we have had in the last 8 months. If my team wasn't so small I'm sure I'd of been axed by now.
