I reminded myself why I love my truck so much!
so this little tiny hill you see my truck on has been giving people a headache, after it rains this pitch (steeper than it appears) get gets really soggy and all sorts of people try and make it up it, (yesterday was a blazer and a jeep) but all sorts of bros with their lifted trucks (and stock guys trying to learn their stuff) try to make it up it. for some reason no one in the past couple weeks could make it up (we've been getting wet weather here in Nevada) my apartment balcony sits facing it so I get a show every time someone attempts, its right off a road (my truck front end is about 3 feet off the pavement)
also if you make it up the steep part, right after is a sort of drainage pitch that is super muddy, there was a 3rd gen stuck there axles deep for probably 3 or 4 days before he came back with a shovel.. So after a jeep not being able to make it up this morning I said screw it I'm going to try, so I got there and thought I would try it out pre runner style (no 4wheel) made it about two feet) switched to 4 high and I shot up and past the mud bog to the top of the hill, put a damn smile on my face, thought I would share
maybe i will start posting pictures of all the cars getting stuck haha

and just a pic of the truck, no more steps, working on getting sliders.

Added the Pelfreybilt Hybrid front bumper today. Loving the like, now just need to add lights and a winch!

Who says that 3rd Gens are the only Tacomas with a color matched dash?

@BigMacMcCoy I used plasti dip. used tape to line everything up. couple coats and you're golden. hardest part and most tedious is lining it up equally. but so worth the time. maybe took me 2 hours because i took my time

Good Samaritan laws in most states make it almost impossible for them to look to you for damages.

Installed oil catch can this weekend on my 2TR. Will update later with what I catch.

I mounted it by buying a steel T-bracket from Lowes, cutting off one tag of the T, and drilling some holes in it. I bolted it to the metal mount that holds up a large portion of the wiring harness.
