Do you have hand tools and a vice? surely you could re valve them yourself and get them charged somewhere locally.

I had not heard of them until the FS thread popped up. What made you want them, other than the 50% mark down

i haven't seen anyone run them, any supportive information behind them being garbage, or just because they aren't the status quo?

a quick google will show case there rep.

Terrible machining quality control. Leaky seals like sivs.

Not a good rep of a company. People say in the last year or so they have improved but i still wouldn't run them.

I did a little research before I bought the set, they are just 2.5 10" stroke with resis. FOA seems to have gone through some restructuring and I have yet to hear anything bad about customer service. In my case I figure with a fresh rebuild and going in such a generic location it won't be a huge deal to change them out for something else down the road if they don't work out. But I will say from most of the forum posts I've read on other sites, they're really active about answering questions about rebuilding, revalving and problems with their product. They're not a huge operation, and Chris seems like he genuinely want to do whatever he can to improve his product. Either way, for what I paid it isn't a big deal either way and it will get me moving on revamping the rear end.

Best way to get you started is here:

    http://www.crawlpedia.com/shock_valving.htm

    http://www.crawlpedia.com/shock_tuning.htm

A LOT of trial and error is involved if you want to really dial in a specific feel. But there are lots of base line stacks out there for given manufacturers that will get you pretty close. It also is highly dependent on how you will drive them and your specific rig's specs. It's fun to open them up and play with different shim configurations but it's not for everyone.
