My take is this, if you can make it where 6+ members can make it then that is a good crowd. If it was only me and one more showing up, then I would consider canceling as three (two others and me) attending would be a minimum number for me unless it was a real close spot. Considering the folks in this thread, I really think it wont be hard to make some decent meets assuming everyone wont make every one of them!

Now that you mention it, I need to find one of those people as well. I need a sub panel and 240 in my garage. I got my grandfather's big ol' Snap-On mig welder when he passed, but don't have any juice to hook it to. I thought about taking the project on myself, but I think that much electricity should just be one of those things where I pay someone who does it every day and wants a little side money in their pocket.

Truck looks great man. Got me thinking I should have gone with the SOS bumper. Now I'm sitting here trying to decide on rear bumper, sliders (I've already decided on angled up kick-outs, just gotta pick a brand), and skids. Half tempted to go to Mobtown for all 3, because I could ride up and get them instead of shipping. Plus he's been talking about doing a group buy on the sliders soon. And if I were to maybe buy all 3 in cash money style, maybe he could work a deal... dunno. I wouldn't hate if he couldn't. I know how business works. But I think SOS has a "tax season" sale going on right now that's pretty damn good. So what do I do? I'm so indecisive.

I am thinking the same thing about that SOS front bumper. If I didn't have a deep deep love to be a BRO with a prerunner style ride, that bumper would be where I would look. I normally don't like the look of the traditional full plate bumper, but the aesthetic design of that SOS and with the triple hoop just looks good! Only issue I see is obviously Casper will be just down the street with the same bumper, but maybe that's a good thing!

Just can't do the bro thing anymore. I think I'm just too old. I'm guilty of being a minitrucker back in the day of 18's being huge on a static drop, and if you were bagged on 18's you were a god among men. And if you couldn't knock over a 12oz soda can with your frame, you just weren't low enough to hang out with the cool kids. I was rockin' a '99 S10 extended cab with the stepside bed, and a 4/6 drop. I could hit certain bridges on 95 at speed and throw sparks. I kind of miss that truck sometimes.

And Ben ( @TheGunSlinger ) probably remembers my Silverado. I had that one fairly slammed too. Not as low as the S10, but it wasn't far off the ground.

I just got along with everyone in the car scene back in the day. I'd be the guy in the slammed pickup truck hanging out at all the street races. Didn't matter if it was imports or domestics. I've helped some of my friends set ET records in their 900+ HP Hondas, lay frame on 20's back when that was a huge deal, helped build trophy winning mud trucks, and basically just been around some seriously cool shit.

Hell, I even had a Jeep Cherokee that I kind of "took over" The Cove in Gore with at a VA4WDA event because I was hanging with the lifted and locked Heeps with my bald 33's, no recovery points, bastard lift and cut fenders, and open/open diffs. I was talk of the camp at dinner that night. The general consensus was that I was insane and should have been on my lid more than once.

While some of my friends were out living their way, doing the getting married and having kids and selling all the toys thing, I was living my way. Yeah, it gets a little lonely now, but man, I've got some great stories to tell my nephew when he gets old enough.

But... 20% off of this? Might have to pull the trigger. I'd be having it all shipped to my work, so LTL usually isn't horrible.

I got a feeling I might be following in your footsteps. I got so many toys...and I don't know if I have it in me to give any up. Might as well bury me in a crater cause Im taking my toys with me!
