Afternoon, humans. No power here right now, but at least I've still got cold beer!

Yep! Might as well make use of the fresh snowdrift on my water storage tanks by the sunroom.

Fixed my snowblower... For now... It'll need a drive train rehaul in the spring then I'll sell it and buy an Ariens. I'm done playing around with kid's toys..

    Happy Single Awareness Eve...

Ariens are the only ones that use metal transmissions ase far as I know. My last one lasted 10 years or so. The new one is 2 years old and starts every time

I blew up my gearbox in my little Craftsman in 2015. I turned the gears into discs. I had it rebuilt and ended up buying an Ariens anyways. I still have it at my Mom's, but I don't think I'll use it again anytime soon.

I think mine is just over 25 years old at this point and still runs like a beast! I'm thoroughly impressed with it at this point.

My parents had a toro snowblower and I could hardly ever make it through a storm without breaking at least one shear pin. This is the second year with my ariens and it has performed like a champ. Haven't had a single issue with it

Been running a craftsman snow blower for the past 10 years. Never had any issues with it. Starts right up every time. Bought it off my old boss when it was 1 year old. Best $200 I've spent since moving up here.

    Morning everyone!

Thanks for the tip about the RAAMmat, Rob (@mach1man001). Shot Mr. Marv a PM, and he got back to me. Suggested I reach out to a guy by the name of Jason at RAAMmat, because of the shipping cost aspect of it, and to tell him that Mr. Marv "sent me over", so he could hopefully give me a break on the price.

I checked out their website and read the "how to" this morning, on how to do the doors, etc. Guessing you used this stuff and that's why you recommended it, right? If you did, did you use the Ensolite? And for the doors, it said you throw the moisture barrier out since I guess then you use the Ensolite to replace it... is that what you did?

I have a Husqvarna ST 227P for a little over 2 years now and it runs like a champ. It was definitely a good investment.

Yes I have it in my truck. So far I have only done the back wall and floor although I still have more to do my doors. I have the Ensolite as well as it is the actual sound reducer and the mat is to deaden the panels to make them not so tinny. Here's some pictures

    Bare wall

Stips of RAAMmat on it. I left it off of the tops of the ridges as Marv told me to. It's supposed to help when fitting his subwoofer box, besides 100% coverage of this is not needed as it's only to stop the panels from resonating

Ensolite on wall. Try and get as close to 100% coverage of this as you can because this is what lowers the noise

My floor. I did cover this 100% because I was trying to stop as much boom as possible

    Floor with Ensolite fully covered

    Scraps put on B-Pilar panels

Nuno, I can't tell you how much of a difference this stuff makes. Let me know if you have any questions
