    what is a good website to get OME lifts at? , also if I do get a 2.5 - 3 '' lift, what size tires should i be getting so i dont look funny.

    my vehicle is a 97 tacoma lx , 2wd 5 lug

    be careful, most of the lifts do not work on the 5 lugs.

    Engage Offroad long travel front and rear with some fat tires.
    cant go that big on a 5 lug unless you go long travel with race spindles... 31s are the best you could do... 32s would suck big time with no regearing...

    on a 1st gen 5 lug, you are limited to Fabtech coils and spindles...

    you could do a top mount spacer like a readylift, but that will tear up your ball joints...

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    Yep ToyTec has a note stating:

    Tacoma 95-04 (Lift products will not fit Tacoma with 5 lug wheels)

    It's already been said but OME will not work with your truck. I would suggest that instead of putting LT in your taco, just go buy a 4wd!!

    LT= long travel

    the total choas kit is gonna be your best option for performance and comfort. it will be expensive but well worth it.
