I just need bump stops to
I just need bump stops to limit my travel when articulating. The shocks I put on or a little long and I don't want to blow them out. I like the sumo's but they're a little steep for my budget.

You can re-use the stock bump stops. You don't have to buy any of the suggested aftermarket ones.

They are progressive load aids, so they can overly limit your compression on the up travel in an off-road situation. They are screwed on to the base, so they can be removed and replaced with regular bump stops if desired. As Zack kindly pointed out I carry a LOT of extra gear, so I leave them on and deal with the limited up travel.

I don't think they are tall enough. I'm going to try to mod them with a spacer and test it

The stock modified ones are free. The aftermarket modified ones are not. Unless you buy air bumps and cans, no bumpstop is adjustable. Certain rubber bumpstops can be cut to size, to an extent, but they are still not free. If budget is what you are currently after, there's no reason to even shop around. You have the solution already.

At this point not much for spare parts.:( Though I have a just about a complete set of tools + survival gear. I want to start adding spare parts to my kit soon. Maybe spare axles, universal joint, etc... Common breakage items that are trail repairable. Hopefully by the time the Rally starts I'll have the majority of the parts. :fingerscrossed:

Edit: if things go to hell in a hand basket, most people would want to be my friend or at least pretend to be...:spy: :infantry:

Haha. Man, it really pisses me off; i see a shit load of jeeps running around here with brand new sets of mud tires that they bought the jeep with, and they don't even use them! Here i am running around will bald-ass tires, i need to steal some from someone, but the problem is that no one around here runs 16's :annoyed:

But I gots me tars already! :)

It's obnoxious the amount of Jeeps here with a lift, wheels/tires, chrome, armor, and snorkels. Never seen a Wrangler newer than 2010 with mud on it! EVER!
