    I'm a bachelor so shoot me. That spare bedroom is my filing and junk room. My dogs keep getting into the stuff also. Go wash your trucks since you live in a glass house.

    My thought process was that sand will get behind there from getting tossed up by the tire and floating in the air, and with the lateral movement/vibration of the snorkle, that will basically sand the paint off the fender. Add enough rainy days and it could be a problem down the road. The flip side is that if anything does get behind there, I have now effectively sealed it in with the silicone so I may have fucked myself but the silicone will also help restrict lateral movement, to a point, and aesthetically it looks better (seemless). I guess if the fender rusts out in 10 years it'll be time for a tube bod mod:D

    FML got all pumped up and just about to cut, then realized I didn't have the right adapter for the hole saw........maybe it's a sign?

    There is no success, only pain. Installing this thing sucks no matter what.

    I remember the conversation about it coming up in the past on this thread. Looks like I'm going to have to dive into the past 315 pages to find out the details.

    Search for homertacos posts in this thread. He did a bunch of the holes for people recently if I recall correctly.

    you know what's worse than installing the snorkel?

    Second guessing how you sealed the elbow fittings, removing the snorkel intending to reseal the elbow, dropping that top nut down into the netherworld, removing the entire fender so you can fish out that nut, resealing/reassembling everything.
    :angrygirl::angrygirl:

    It is sealed to my satisfaction now but sheeesh.

    So, just like that. NO reasons, no apology from Mahalo, read back to page 257 to see what happened, and Bob The Man, had to pay? for these to get released while Mahalo just takes a vacation? Just a piece of shit, that's all he is.
