    Really? That sucks. He does great work and is a great dude, but at $80/hr it's likely not worth the trek for you out to Monroe. 20% is a big increase.

    Wow, he managed to get my sliders welded together and on (had to locate the mounting plates and tack them to the sliders before fully welding the sliders to the plates and then plates to the truck) and do my CMC in right about 4 hours at $65/hr. I think I ended up giving him $300 because I was expecting it to take a decent amount longer.

    Granted I had the cab mounts already cut so he just had to clean them up with the grinder and stick plates on and also helped him hang the sliders but I was pretty impressed with what he was able to get done.

    4wheel parts in Tacoma quoted me $220 I think it was and that was before I ordered the plates myself. I don't mind paying that, but a helping hand would be better for sure

    He said 4 hours to do the cab mount chop but wanted me to go up there and look at it before we set up a time to do the work. Might be quite a bit less if it took 4 hours for all that stuff.

    Anyone know of a place that rebuilds starters? Looking at the probability of my winch motor needing rebuilt. I may just buy a replacement motor for now and have this one rebuilt for a spare.

    King 2.5 w 700lb coils, bamf rear mount and sliders, alcan rear springs, 12 inch king smoothies, allpro front bumper, allpro uca, 34x10.50 bfg at ko2, total chaos gussets
    It honestly takes about 20-25 minutes per side. Most of that time is taking the wheel on and off. I would not pay for more than 1.5 hours max and thats if they made plates for you.
    Its a very simple job
