Good morning. After catching up almost makes me want to go into work today. Took me a long time but I am lucky to be in with a great group at work. Working from home today tomorrow will go in.

Used to have a 12 gal. wet dry shop vac with a hose on the bottom to attach a garden hose and drain water from a distance. Got tired of moving it around after 20 years so got rid of it to make more room in the garage. Day 3 of using a 4 gal. wet\dry shop vac which means it really only holds 3 gal. and dumping it manually to empty the garage of snow melt. About 60 gal. at a time couple times a day. Sciatic nerve is screaming at me saying this is why you should never get rid of nothing! But it isn't snowing or ice so not going to complain too loudly.

I don't have the XL, have the outfitter cot though Cabela's cots are some of the best IME. And with the Outfitter sleeping pad it is just as comfortable, or maybe more so, than my bed at home. You can adjust the firmness and the foam inside helps a lot. I can not sleep on any air mattress but with the sleeping pad on top can sleep on just about anything. If you don't have room for another cot maybe the sleeping pad instead of an air mattress would do the trick? It has for me before.

We both have busy days on Tuesdays so we went out with some friends on Sunday night to celebrate Valentines Day. The restaurant was not even half full! I may make a habit of this.

Murphy's Law lives: as I said we're both busy on Tuesdays, as in "not home", and so I had the flower delivery scheduled for Monday. Fed Ex changed it. To Tuesday. :censored:

I am still saying a small pop up you can tote along after you customize it would be better depending on your ability to tow it with your truck or the work truck.

Man you guys have me jealous of those XL cots. The only reason I went with the regular sized cots is that even in the Big Horn tent by the time set up the wood stove and gear 3 regular cots are about it for space.

Besides with the XL cot you don't have to fight with those stupid end stretchers that pinch your fingers and draw blood blisters and take so much effort to get in place you work up enough sweat that you need a shower when your done.

And when your done now you have the ends of the stretchers sticking out right at knee height so when you get up in the middle of the night in the dark to piss you smack into them and swear.

I should have got the XL cots.....

So sorry to hear that Mark. Don't know what to say..... Amazing how something so "simple" (as in watching someone) has such lasting effects on another person.

Yea I know. Gotta put some time in I guess. Or know how to talk politically correct instead of harsh off the cuff way like I was taught and prefer.
