Unfortunately, I doubt I'll have the lift / tires and stuff on by then since we literally move into our new place on March 1st...
fun fact: I also just dropped $4500 to fly BACK to Hawaii in early April for my little sister's wedding. FML. :annoyed:

but usually, I am 100% down for all of these trips. You can count me in for the rest of them! haha

Luckily, I only now move when I want to or the right job presents itself instead of when Uncle Sam tells me to move.

hmm... you have aroused my curiosity good sir haha

what dates have you guys locked down?

also, I need an opinion.... since I've told all of you that I'll be ordering my lift in a couple weeks...

So heres what is in the budget for sure:

I have the Bilstein 5100 / OME 888 lift from Headstrong
    4 Pro Comp Rockwell wheels
    4 Mastercraft Courser MXTs

now comes the difficult question..... do I buy steps /sliders and maybe a light bar setup?
    or
do I buy my winch and then buy my C4 Fab bumper when I sell my stock wheels and tires?

Keep in mind, I'll still need steps / sliders for sure at some point (I'm a short guy) haha

@Me. Projekt we are heading down March 24-26.

Have you checked out Level8 wheels? I have them. From Discount Tire, they are around $150 each shipped.

What are your plans for the truck? @90yota has a bumper coming soon I think. @Truggin has a 3rd gen too with similar plans. Im not sure what @IPNPULZ plans are. Maybe just driving

But I'm still not 100% sure when I'll be going cause he recently just got some stuff replaced like his front axle and fenders and grille cause he got in an accident the day before we were gonna go about a month ago. And I won't be able to camp most likely but I could still stop by.

ok cool I'll check with the wife and let you guys know.

I have checked out level8 wheels and I had the mk6 on my old 4Runner, but I like the fitment and look better on the Rockwells 17x8.5 +0 is right in the sweet spot for our trucks and I think they look great when done right...

and my plans: a capable daily driver and weekend warrior. All of the aforementioned mods will be done eventually one way or the other.... my main thing is I dont know what is more important.... step bars that I will use every day, or a bumper / winch that if i need it, it could save my ass.

    first world problems. haha

random question, what Facebook groups are you all a member of for local off roading?

back in CO we had a Facebook page for meetups, search and rescue, classifieds, etc.... and I'm just wondering if there is anything like that running around for NOVA

Many run the OME setup and it works pretty well for around here. I would def prefer sliders over a bumper first as a bumper you can get away without one unless you like driving into trees. Depending on who you wheel with, you may not need a winch as others will probably have one @fatfurious2.

Agreed! But get sliders, and NOT steps. Steps don't protect shit, and many even hang down enough to impeded wheeling... Once you're protected, then go for the bumpers/winch/etc.

    (At least that's my plan)
