If you decide not to go with the hacksaw method then you can just pull the old knobs off and push the new ones on.

These knobs are the single best/easiest/cheapest upgrade that should be done on any new Tacoma.

So I ordered these on Friday 2/10 they arrived yesterday so 1, thank you for the super fast shipping. Second, I would like to echo everyone else's opinion in that these knobs are amazing. The quality is top notch and I cannot tell you how much easier it is to use the radio after installing these. FYI, the install takes less than a minute........

OK I was trying to remove the knob and it was very difficult. So I thought maybe there was another method but I guess it really is just that simple. I just didn't want to break anything. Thanks

They can require a bit of force to get off. The trick is making sure you're pulling straight out.

Just put the knobs on this morning (at a stop light no less). Holy cow, I never thought I would be so excited for knobs but here we are. Love them. Thanks @wileydavis for you effort in designing these. Fantastic job. Its the simple things that always seem to be the most effective.

Upon further consideration, this is a much better alternative than hacksawing off the old knobs and putting the new ones on.

Got my knobs about a month ago. These things are great. Worth every penny and so much more functional that the OEM knobs.

It was back a few pages but not for the basic model yet, only the premium. The OP was working on that though.

Got my RED knobs in yesterday. Thank you @wileydavis ! They feel sooo much better than the stock radio knobs. The red matches the Pro interior quite nicely.

Ordered today...was thinking the other day about how much a pain the small knobs are, so glad to get rid of them and replace with ones that are useful!

I removed my leaf springs, and took the front bumper completely off. I was able to reach the wiring and harnesses needed to remove the left knob. Now the right knob was a total pain in the ass..I'll include a detailed instructional on that one.
