I sure did. 4500 sq ft at 48th and Washington so dead central Phoenix. Swamp cooled, space heater, 2 bathrooms. $.45/sq ft per month.

A little big but I want to get Tommy in there running the fab shop on the other side to cut down some costs

Yeah, that's like 8 of mine . Plus a steep bill to cover if Members are late on dues.

I did find a cheap personal spot with potential in AJ. .62 acres with a small living space and room to build/expand.

Yea its a big shop for sure. I'm still looking for something smaller and cheaper per foot but here's how i look at it:

you figure that each stored vehicle will likely need a 25x15' space so they have room for tool boxes/parts and space between vehicles so that's 375 sq/ft per vehicle ~$200 per month per space, lets say you have 6 guys that have projects to store each month, you've already occupied almost 2500 sq/ft of that shop and covered $1200 in rent. Add in another $200 from the guys that want to store stuff on your racking and lets call it another $200 in monthly contributions you're at $1600 already. Then you get a small business in there like Tommy's to fill the remaining space and pay the remaining rent and cover utilities since hes there every day and boom you have a 4500 sq/ft space with room for 20+ vehicles out front, a yard for trailers and other storage and a cool little hang out spot in the office at your disposal.

    For sure.

Mine is 26x28 and roomy for 1 with tools, but can squeeze 2 in. So I agree with those space numbers.

    60x75 is 4500ish
    10 drive down the middle
5 25x15 spots down each side
Still need room for racking/storage/couches/"security officer accomadations"

Fawk, just ran out of room. Actual dimensions will make a big difference.

I want to post a feeler thread. Who would actually be in at those types of numbers as the core group. The ancillary stuff will get used for sure.

I'll get a feeler up shortly. I was browsing through available space a lot while I was out sick yesterday. I was surprised how much stuff there was available relatively central to everyone. I know that there's going to be a push to try and keep it further east valley but space that wasn't hood AF and paved wasn't cheap and if we can keep it more central its easier for mod days and guys from all over to use. Plus our second tenant would want to stay centrally located.

Nice. I was just jotting some notes and list of guys to consider for various aspects here at lunch.

John, you and I have trailers that could use homes.

JD, Juan, Blender, and RC Taco have daily drivers

Jason, Andrew, and Desert Drifter Bill could be maybes.
