sleeve receiver lock wont work

    i have a 2017 tacoma sport 4x4 and al of the sleeved receiver lock that iv bought none of them seems to work , they stay short for about a couple cm' , need the perfect one ,,,,,, the one in the pic. wont close ,,,,,20170214_132710.jpg 20170214_131423.jpg

    Yeah common problem... I forget which one I have but its longer that the regular ones ... you have to measure...

    This. The sidewall on these are thick giving it the higher class rating. I have the same issue with my wobble bolt for my bike rack.

    Try taking the short one and rub it on your Taco and see if that doesn't help a little!

    Then one I bought had a pin for both receiver type. Class I (I believe) and class III. Are you sure you got the one with the correct pin.

    Looks like the receiver is different than the GEN2. I bought the same lock and the long pin works fine in my 2013.
