What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I just tucked the ends into the wings of the bumper. I'll go snap a picture or 2 after I finish lunch.

No problem!

I used a couple of zip ties and zipped em to the fog light bracket I believe.

If they aren't cooperating, hit them with a heat gun (less $10 @ Harbor Freight) and that should soften them up enough get them where you want them!

 

Haha, I wish that were the case... Would've saved a lot of money in gas since then!

Just to clarify, the fender liners haven't moved since I zip tied them to the bumper

 

Yeah the thing smells like a blackened marshmallow. Anyone else put these flasher in their car? I loved it when it was working...

 

Any reason you didn't trim them?

Potential to return to stock?

Mine tucked in just fine... I didn't feel the need to trim them afterwards.

But , it will be nice if I ever do return to stock... Plus I figure being tucked will keep mud and grime out of the engine bay better than if they were cut... And they should protect the the air intake a little more as well.

 

Elusive? I get that shit on the daily

 

2" of lift and a little trimming the mudflaps and fender flares. But it did rub a little before the trimming.

 

I'd like to know this also Chad. Already did my dash blackout and never got to the rings. Don;t want to take it apart again to do the rings. I think someone said they got them off without taking dash out. But i tried once and couldn't get them off

 

I have not tried to take them off yet.

I keep hearing you have to take the dash off.

Then I also hear they just pop off.

In the end, I will just take the dash off lol

Yes.

As far as I know, the only way to get them off is by taking the dash off. Then they just pop off since they have tiny clips behind them, that you can push/force to unclip.
