Rear Wheel Trim Strip Stained with Dirt

    In both pictures look at the bottom trim that is toward the front of the truck. There is a strip that is really dirty.

    I have done everything to try and remove the dirt and grime on this strip on the trim. Nothing gets it off. Surely someone else has this problem and a fix for it.

    It's probably mildew underneath the sticker.

    Either way, just peel them off and replace or leave as is.

    Are they there for any reason or is it something that's probably been there since factory built?

    Could try clay bar too. Or as @DCSBFTMFW said, peel and replace, or live with it.

    This irks me too, especially where the exhaust has stained my pass rear corner of the bumper. But life goes on.

    Factory applied, helps protect leading edge paint.

    Not necessary to have. Mildew is a problem (as is staining).
