If you haven't already, give interchange (http://www.car-part.com/) a look to see if any breakers near you have any on hand.

Soooooo...the transition to 16-hole steelies is offically a go! They're in the hands of the powder coater and I hope to have them back by the middle of next week. Based on input from my Cruiser community connections from years and vehicles past, I ended up going with Dusty Gray (RAL 7037) for the job. Pics to follow shortly...

$50 a wheel! Great price considering that one shop quoted me $225 a wheel.

Agreed! And the guy that own's the shop is as nice an individual as you'll ever meet. Assuming he has no objections, I plan on giving him some free press on this forum. Here's to hoping that his pricing on bumpers and racks is just as reasonable.

Base/clear painted my steelies this past weekend. Base/clear Rustoleum Midnight black metallic. 2 coats color, 2 coats clear. Added 70mm emblems bought off e-bay. Looks black in the shade, dark gunmetal in the sun.

OK so the interchange for a 16" 16 hole 1st gen steel wheel is 69392.

Where are you from? I'll see if I can find any around you

How far is Paducah from you? A place called Lane Road Auto Salvage has 4 of them in stock @ $25 each. Their number is 1-800-685-6757.

Another place called Davis Salvage Auto Parts in Corbin shows they have 3 but no price listed Their number is 1-877-528-5741. You can also try William and Tucker Auto Parts in Sulphur-Well shows 1 as well and their number is 1-800-545-0687

    Hope this helps you out

Well, we just had our second child on Sunday morning, so it's going to be a bit until i get the tires. I have decided on Falken Wildpeak ATW/3's, so now it's just a matter of dropping the wheels off at the tire shop. Right now it's time to tend to the family, but i will be sure to post pics when they get done.
