Well, on the bright side..... u may have a few more ponies once full and operating correctly

 

but all that added weight...

 

Come on guys lol. I at least pop the hood once a month and just do a quick eyeball on all my fluids. Which reminds me, radiator looked a bit on the low side earlier this month, I keep forgetting to go grab another gallon of coolant.

 

Nothin a healthy dump cant fix

 

Just remember to check THAT resi with the key on, or engine running.
As gadget pointed out, hearing the pump run doesnt mean its pushing coolant.

 

Looks like there's some pink residue in the reservoir as well as needed the inlet hose/clamp. Fill and look for leaks.

 

So I was changing my oil at the same time I noticed this. Now I have a cylinder misfire. Any coincidence ?

 

Cant touch that one, sorry.

Anyone taken the blower off to change plugs?
How hard is it? Worth it to pay to have it done?

Trucks at 49k an I did NOT change plugs at 30k

 

I dunno, but Ive got a good 20k to go before I think about it

 

Ive pulled em once already just to see how things looked.

Use multiple 3" 3/8 extensions, a swivel low profile fine tooth ratchet, and u should be fine.

Remember you guys have iridiums in there now.

I personally wont go 100K, but i think ill do 60 or 80K

Edit, my buddy has small hands and he got the driver side plug closest to the firewall.
I think i coulda done it, cant be much harder than headers....but he was there and offered.

 

If u DO wanna pull the deal apart, i hear theres a foam seal/gasket that is sometimes pinched and ripped when opening the case? (I didnt install my blower).

Now, if u think u wanna go that route i suggest messeging whitebeauty (mark) over on the xru. Awhile back he got ahold of quite a few new ones from toyota which for some reason are hard for anyone to obtain normally. He most likely has a few left and may part with them.

I have a leak somewhere on my coolant. Doesn't leave puddles, but I have a pink residue on stuff around the reservoir. Maddening. Clamps all seem good
