    They are going to try.

Wait a bit before you list it, lots of hurdles to jump before it happens.

    Yup.

Dunno, do have a short list of folks that want to be notified before I list it.

Double cab with trayback and slide off tray canopy please.

    Do it!!!

Talked to him already. Bare bones 79 is looking to land around 58 - 60 grand with the next two trim levels costing more. If you want the worlds best 4x4 you gotta' pay.

Is it just me or do those tires look awful small?
So you spend that kind of money and still have all the aggravation of fingering out which lift and tires to get?

Have y'all seen 4x4Adventure's 79? They're Australian based, it's beyond cool. I'm ready to rob the ship importing them if y'all are!

You can't even get them into the country legally yet and you guys are already plotting on it. I think I've created a monster.

If you want to check out some other good Australian videos look into these and the channels that they are on.

John 'Roothy' Rooth and the folks at Lowrange are running a new 79 series in their videos, subscribe to the channel and you will get notifications when they post full videos. They usually leave the full episodes up for about a week or two and they are worth a peek.

Before Roothy went to Lowrange he made videos for Australian 4WD Action with Graham and Shawno. They have some full length episodes on their channel and add more from time to time.

A partner of 4WD Action is 4WD Supa Centre and they host some of the full episodes on their channel as well.

The 4WD Action videos came on DVD with each print issue and I have quite a few of them that I've traded for throughout the years that I have now ripped and stored onto my home theater PC to watch. Another good show is 4WD Touring Australia in which the host starts out in a 200 Series LandCruiser in the first few seasons and then switches out to a 79 Series in the following season. Not as product sponsor centric as the 4WD Action stuff but still lots of cool places are visited and documented and of course the machines are awesome.

And of course the best is last. No binge on Australian off-road videos would be complete without watching some "Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures."

Not sure. Depends on the severity I guess. Last I checked the weather for Marble Falls rain wasn't expected until Sunday. I'm hoping it stays that way. I wouldn't mind playing in the mud but unless some more experience/prepared guys show up, I'm not sure if we'll have any recovery gear.
