Depends on how bad it looks underneath. If it's corroded and rusting I would do the exhaust system vs just the muffler. Speaking from experience. My exhaust fell off on the beltway from the cat back. Rust was so bad

If your stock tailpipe is in good shape and is stainless, you could just weld in a new muffler. I know flowmasters are loud, but some like that. I love the sound of the trd, but i am a second gen 4.0 so not really a comparison

4cyl so I'm not gonna be able to get a deep growl but I talked to people in the past about it and they said the magnaflow gave them the deepest possible and my bro has an 02 4cyl with a flowmaster and he said he wishes it was a magnaflow

Look up LC engineering. I've bought a lot of my stuff through them. Full exhaust systems, headers, intakes. They have it all

If my exhaust stuff is in decent shape, would I be able to just replace that one part of the exhaust with the item I posted earlier or what would I do?

As long as the inlet and outlet on the muffler are the same size. Or you can buy adapters to fit the right ends.

Okay that's what I thought. And it would just be welded right? And it will still change the sound?
