Just the one for the PPQ which is my main carry. The rest travel in my range bag. Although I do have holsters for them all.

How do you like the VP9 vs the Glock 19? Not trying to tart a flame war i have been just been debating them recently.

The VP9 has one of the best triggers with the PPQ a very close second. Between the VP9 and the G19, I end up carrying the G19 much more often. I just like the way it feels in my hand. For me it points more naturally. Either is an excellent choice.

I got my Streamlight ProTac 1 setup yesterday... Still playing around with which side I want to mount it, so I using the standard rear on/off switch instead of the wired switch.

Impressed with initial quality and brightness so far!!!

No doubt it would be nice! Baby hammer and setting tools are my go-to. In this case, I needed to remove the roll pin and since it was the forward ears of the assembly, I couldn't get to it from the other side.

In hindsight, I should've drilled through the middle of the roll pin with my smallest drill bit all of the way through both sides. Then used the hole on the back side to line up the hole with a bit the same diameter of the roll pin then knocked it back through with my punches. I'd have a hole through both sides, but that's not a big deal.

Quick question for the guys with lights in their safe, what kind of lights do you have and do you have any pics of them installed? Im leaning towards just some LED's off of ebay that are run off a battery pack but didnt know if there is a better option.

I went low-tech and cheap with one of those 3-AAA powered LED puck lights in each safe. I run them on rechargeable batteries, so when they go kaput I just recharge them.

Did you mount the light on the left side? Or the remote switch? Both?

I'm a lefty... So everything I do is backwards lol!

I may swap the light to the left side and mount the remote switch on the right, so I can hit it with my thumb.

I was worried about having enough real estate for my fingers and the light/mount on the left side of the forend, but that Magpul cantilever rail does a good job of moving the light forward.

In all honesty, that should be the first thing to be done, even if its a sock full rice! Humidity is the #1 killer in a gun safe!!!!

That will help< but that is a very large area to constancy maintain. I would still go with a heat rod. I speak from experience. My heat rod went down and I didn't know it and paid the price! And I even had a rice sock in there also.
