When we did Dakota's cv's we used the pipe. Put his ifs skid on the garage floor and went to town trying to knock it out. You have to do it as hard as you can

Had this same issue a while back going LT, used the pipe method initially to no avail. I ended up placing Shaft into a vise then used brass punch to knock out outer cv.

It's not that hard, I bet if you dropped it from 5' high it would pop right out of there. The trick to the pipe thing is to smack it on something hard. Concrete, rock, whatever. Lift it above your head, bam, it will fall out.

    Classic! Nice thumb!

Weird that the ad says it came off a Tundra, when clearly it is on a Tacoma. And there is now way a Tundra rack would fit on a Tacoma, it would be too wide.

yeah, just looked at their site. I guess the cross bars slide inside the outer ends, making the width adjustable.

If you look close, you can see the lock bolt where the rack slides to accommodate wider or narrower beds.

Go out through Sandy, past the gas station, and within about 10 minutes there's usually a guy selling Elk Jerky (?) out of a vehicle on the right. Pull in there. There's a gate you can park in front of. Walk in 10-15 minutes, bear left downhill towards the water. Follow the road and you'll see a couple good spots on the right.
