Bullshit. You got a Subaru that was already in production, it just happened to fit what you wanted.
Life is tough, it's tougher when you are clueless.

I am calling BS on the Air Force badge...first thing we all learn in Air Force is extreme patience.

Lol, hurry up and wait. Though there has been a shift in Air Force culture becoming more entitled, entitled to this award, to this EPR rating, me me me, 2019 can't come soon enough (DOS).

That, my friend, was a joke.

Unsolicited advice - Relax. You came in here pissed off and others tried to help you understand your issue. A few even made jokes about it. Your response was to get more pissed off. That can't be good for your blood pressure.

301X3 (originally ECM). Eventually evolved into a 30153-1, which (I think) decoded into what I did in the last years of my enlistment- AMT (airborne maint. tech.) on RC-135's flying out of Kadena AFB to The Northern Gulf of Tonkin (off the east coast of Hanoi Viet Nam) or to northern Laos (just to the west of Hanoi VietNam).

I've never heard the term "bromite" before, so I had to Google it. My findings are that you would only use that word for 2 reasons...either you're a chemist, or you're 13 years old

They do prioritize sold orders. If you read my FIRST COMMENT I gave you several possible answers.

I've been in the auto transport industry for over 15 years and worked with Toyota for 12 of them. When the rail cars arrive at the vehicle distribution center the unloading company unloads the units, the inspection company inspects them and the trucking company ships them. There's really not that much paperwork or extras involved unless there're issues with the rail car like jumped chocks or the very rare derailment which can cause pretty serious damage. The dealer handles all other inspections when they PDI it when the unit comes from a VDC. Carrier shipping delays where most likely his problem. They should always expedite sold units. When I worked exclusively with Toyota their regional office would call me all the time asking for certain units to be expedited. OP has fell into the "3rd gen bitch about everything" cycle.

This thread is great......an intel officer and a maintenance tech arguing over who saw more combat in the Air Force.

    Thank you for your service.
Mine was 3E4X1(Utilities). As part of the civil engineering squadron we were responsible for set up and maintenance of the potable water system. With a one year tour in Korea, and building a base from ground up in Iraq, thrid squad in at a base in U.A.E., and a couple stateside bases, I chose not to reenlist.

Appreciate all the collaborative input here with the logistical factors involved in buying a new Taco. I don't know if I will ever buy new as I tend to buy used, but def good stuff to know! Sorry OP that things took longer than expected, but hopefully now the worst is behind ya.
