    Saw it out at KOH last weekend. Super clean truck but missing a lot of things to make it worth $55k. Stock interior including the seats, A-pillars on the Exo are pretty sketch and just abruptly end inside the fender, cheap lights etc etc. just lacks the detail work for it to be a $50K+ buy

    you're going to need spacers for 2.5 bypasses and larger on almost every long travel leaf swap. dmz, giant, deavers ect.

    That's something you'll want to have your builder decide as he may or may not notch the frame. It will also be dependent on if you spring for new bypasses with the proper layout or buy used in the standard configuration and make it work.

    This is something most people miss. If needed you can order bypasses with the tube and resi layout so it fits best. Most just try to make something fit but especially if you are buying new anyway you might as well clock them so you get the best clearance

    On that note is there any downside to notching the frame to fit shocks in closer? Gonna be building a new bed cage soon, thinking on notching the frame an inch or so to tuck the shocks in closer.

    I wouldn't think so as long as you reinforce the notch and it might be even better if you box the frame. I don't recall how much I notched mine to fit 3.0s, but it must of been a lot because I don't need rear spacers at full articulation. I added the spacers afterwards just to widen the rear to fill the glass better and get a bit closer to the front.

    Yeah Id be reinforcing the notch inside and out. I need to finish boxing the frame past Jeffs frame plates, I want it boxed to the cab. And yeah, 3.0s are huge lol. Running 1.5" spacers I've rubbed off the stickers on my bypass tubes already, so I need to get the shocks tucked in alot closer to the frame. Will probably swap out the 1.5s to spidertrax 1.25 to keep a little wheel base

    the 8'' early diff is similar to the 8'' elocker but still different.

    Open diffs in tacomas are the "8.4'' " diff. Still and 8'' but the ring is slightly bigger. Different mounting and axle housing though as well as other features. It's considered a stronger diff then the E locker due to the brace on the Ring gear bearing caps and pinion bearings being larger.
