You must drive a lot. How long will it take to break even on the now $6000+ purchase in gas savings?

I see it everywhere. Pretty sure I just picked mine up at advanced auto.

Anyone know of a good place to eat in Estes? Have some friends of friends up there and I know jack about restaurants up there.

I dunno. I'm too lazy to do the math right now.

My truck is getting around 18 mpg now, if I'm lucky.

So far I'm averaging 53 mpg in the Prius (according to the display... I'll have to get a few calculated mpg before I know what it's really getting).

But the things you can't put a ROI or price on:

1. I can drive my daughter and GF around in something far more comfortable than an xtra cab 1st gen with Subaru Forester XT seats that don't fold forward.

2. I am keeping miles off the Tacoma. A vehicle I'm hopefully never getting rid of.

As I found out this past weekend, don't waste your time sourcing it locally using the Gold Eagle website...it is not accurate.

 

I second Ed's. I also like The Wapiti Colorado Pub.

Estes Park Brewery. Beer is excellent, food is subpar, really can't go wrong.

 

Dang! That bumper though.

It does look better than most trudged gens but that bumper makes me think of this.

I would drive it though! Maybe.... Just maybe loosen the bumper mounting bolts a tad and remove the loc tite.

 

Reminds me of the Iron Cross bumpers I always see..
