Ethics are taught. Ethics are a learned behavior; everybody who has them learned them.

At the least they should not be taught by a job. Just my thought

Oh, yeah. People should have their ethics in place before they reach working age. That I agree with.

There are a few cases that I have come along personally that aren't so obvious in a 'business' ethical matter. But most scenarios are pretty easy to "feel" out.

I get into some conflicts when there are a few different engineers working on the same project - people do things and I don't agree with them at all - either I can see they are taking advantage of a customers ignorance of a topic or process, or creating more work by dragging a process out. Do I let them continue on their way, or do I stop them, invest my time and resources into fixing their mistake, and do I bill the client for my time.

Common sense should also be common but we all know that's not the case...

I need to pop my driver's door panel in the good weather as it rattles like crazy. The wife got me a powered sub for Christmas that I'm looking forward to putting in.

Someday I'd love to throw a small amp into the system but I doubt it will happen. The Vette has quite the system from the previous owner if I really want thump.

Hours? My ethics and compliance training at work is listening to an automated message over the phone, with a few T/F questions. Takes only 5 minutes.

On the MA one, they come up with some overly complicated scenarios for some questions, and picking the "No, it's not okay" option often isn't the right answer.

But it'll tell you the right answer: "Yes, it's okay for your step brother's second cousin to bid on a public project that you are involved with, but it would be a conflict of interest for you to sit on a committee that interviews him for a state job." Not an actual answer, but you get the point.

I work for a major defense company. There's probably about 8-10 hours to do each year.

The Ford forums are slow so I'm going to post here about my experiences. You all can live vicariously through me :stirthepot: The new tune is amazing. My first set of tunes was through a company I researched and was very reputable. I later found out that the reviews I was reading are for tunes written by a guy who left that company and started his own. I got his tune installed today and wow, just wow. He was called 'the Coyote whisperer' on a Ford forum and I can see how he got that title. The truck drives awesome but will absolutely scream if you put your foot down.

I'm done with my moment now, back to your regularly scheduled program. :D

Same here... I have about 1.5 days worth of it - more so than most people because I travel and deal with the customers.

Never, I love it just the way it is now. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't drooled over the Rouch blower kit though... 600hp F150 could be fun!

Installed the Smart-Tap unit on my truck - discovered that they used the wrong capacitor in to work with non-led bulbs (This has been fixed and they're replacing them free of charge - where they send you a new one when they confirm your original order and then you send the old one back).

Here's what the hazard feature looks like - sorry about my coworkers screaming in the background....

Not at the moment I went ahead and tested them with incandescent bulbs for now and I'll test them with the LED bulbs installed after taking a video of it.

I'm very thorough with my testing of products :)
