I paid $225 for my double cab. I went with the metallic tint instead of the dyed tint. 20% all the way around

I had metallic tint on my Civic that was like 40%. It was really cheap though. A friend of my fiance's did it. I think I paid $120 for that. The heat repellent properties of that were pretty impressive. That car had black interior too.

Another tint question, Maryland law says the front windows have to be 35% or higher (lighter). With no regulation on rear windows. Has anyone ever had a problem with running 20% or 25% all around? Specifically in Montgomery, PG or Howard county? What would you do if a LE officer asks?

In trucks *knock on wood* darker tint isn't usually a cause for getting pulled over. You usually have to be doing something else wrong. Sports cars are a different story though. It's pretty easy to get a tint ticket in something fast. It also depends on where you live. In some areas cops enforce tint more. They have a little meter that measures how much light gets through. I've heard even if you get 35% it can read darker on the meter.

To be honest man, I don't think cops mess with Truck / SUV owners very much unless they have reason too. I commute from SOMD - DC every day and I see a lot of trucks/SUV with 5%-20% tint.

I was pulled over in PG county in my old Ford ranger that had 15% tint on it. Cop never said a word.

If I was asked what tint I had on my truck by a cop I'd be honest, cause I'm pretty sure they have ways to tell if it's legal or not.

I put 20% all the way around and haven't had any problems. Commute around Baltimore Howard and anne arundel counties.

Carroll County, and I'd define good as someone who's done powder coating long enough to have a positive reputation for quality/good customer service in the area.
