Half life and Portal series are some of my favorites. Very different but still fun and familiar.

Half 2 is 10 bucks.

the Orange Box(which is what id get) is 20 bucks. Comes with HL2 episodes and Portal.

or 40 bucks gets you all the Half versions.

I loved portal 2 on the xbox. Wasn't sure how i would like it. But the dry humor and just the play was amazing. I played it non stop.

 

Portal is great. the second one was fantastic. Multiplayer is also super fun.

 

Ya, it just draws ya in for some reason. Dunno why. I often am not overly fond of those types but I absolutely loved it.

I have heard nothing but raves on half life so its added to the list of games.

 

portal is a spin off of the half life universe.

It is an amazing game. Pretty nuts to play it and realize how old it is. It really redefined FPS.

 

Hmm I didn't know that. Well now im more interested in this.

 

you'll see that parallels when you play it. Just keep in mind HL came before Portal haha but very similar graphics, interface, physics and more. The whole science thing is apeture science and that was Black Messas competition.

In my mind, you can't be a "real" PC gamer until you've play Half Life haha

 

Anyone want an xbox and a stack of random games? I bought it to use for netflix. Then i got a smart tv.

 

Lol im far from a pc gamer. I have anicerly bit gaming pc, but pretty much only game on console.

 

never have own a console. My parents wouldn't let me growing up so i turned out house PC into a gaming rig

And never looked back really.

I have buddies who game pc, but i always grew up on console. I still have my original NES, SNES and N64 with tons of games.

I have two friends who game on PC so thats why I built one just never really got super into it. Most the people I would game were all console.

 

LBZ has 170k on it. I love my car, I've taken care of it and I've made it into my own. But just time for a change. Trading up could be beneficial. The truck books for more than my car does, and I know if I didn't like it I could sell it in a heartbeat.

 

yea i played on consoles with friends all the time. Just had to go to their places. Lot of good memories involving N64 games and halo battles haha 4v4 was the best. end up in a brawl most the time lol

 

Ha I built my pc and now I play heroes of the storm. Fun moba by blizzard. I started on halflife though. Waiting for the steam summer sale that I missed last year and it had all of the bioshock games remastered and dlc for like 20 bucks.

 

This is true. Especially around here.

God I miss hanging out in my buddies basement playing Halo. Good ol days.

The only game i ever beat was halo 1 for the pc.
