Bought some new LPG cylinders for the camping setup.

No, since they seem to be illuminated with an Amber LED in the first place, so they should match the rest of the dash...but I'll check after dark tonight to be sure.

 

I got the 2" AAL and probably got 2" (I didn't actually measure). Sucks that it didn't work out for you.

 

Drop in K&N filter dropped in and a couple organizers for the gaping holes of junk.

 

I still need a part number or link to get replacement bulbs before my knobs materialize from China...!

Okay, so I drove to work with the "budget" dashcam...

Is it better than nothing if some asshole slams into me and I need evidence to submit to a police officer and/or insurance company? Yes.
Is it a POS that I definitely paid too much for...? Dammit.

Anyways, here's the screen shot of the "HD" image. See what I mean about it not being wide angle? That's definitely a feature that I'm already missing.
The other thing that's annoying is the LCD screen is always on. There's no way to turn it off if the unit is getting power.

The good news was that it came with a free SD card (8GB) and a suuuuuper long cord to plug it in.

I temporarily routed the wire across my sun visor and then it neatly fit in the weather stripping on the side so no need to take apart the A-pillar.
Down under where the fuse panel its I hooked it to the cable holder for the parking brake and then ran it across and curiously there's a little plastic compartment with no obvious function right under the change tray (right side of steering wheel) and then I kind of tucked the wire along the seam of where the change tray is and twisty tied the remaining cable (told you it was long!) there to the 12V power/cigarette lighter.

At the very least it gives me ideas on how to handle a better quality dashcam, whenever I get around to ordering it.

Overall, I'm disappointed but at least learned a couple things so not a total loss.

For what it's worth, I'd bet money that the summer heat kills this thing if I leave it in the truck and I'm sure the suction cup will come loose.

^^^ Those look about right. I replaced mine a while ago and they looked identical to those. They are VERY small.

 

Be weary with the K&N drop in air filter since that oil will screw up the MAF sensor in time causing problems...

Find a non-oil filter instead like from AEM or AFE Pro Dry S. @zh137dz
