so if it's a neowedge bulb just go to eBay and you can get 10 led ones for like $7 or so rather than the even more exorbitant prices you find on Amazon for like 1 bulb.

Idk what size that is...they usually come as t3 t4 or t5 which really is the size of the base.

Yea that's pretty much the only way to do it. I guess you could remove the center like you do for the steering wheel controls, disconnect the air bag, then take it apart and pop the emblem from the back, paint it and pop it back on. That would be a project though.

 

Yeah... that sounds like an unnecessary shitload of work though.

I honestly cannot remember where I got the Blinkie patch... Had it in a stash forever and finally added velcro to it a little bit ago. Used to be on my Maxpedition backpack but liked it better in the Taco.

Those look pretty sweet! So there are no LEDs in the knobs, correct? They just allow the ac control lights to shine through?

No, there are no LEDs in the knobs but two little bulbs that have acrylic light piping that channels the light to each knob and the other things that light up.
