I think they just haven't updated, the 16s and 17s should be the same.

I need to figure out what I'm going to get. I don't think I need kings or ads and if I did I don't know if my wallet could take it. guess I could get some good front coil overs and pair it with a cheaper rear option. the more I look at dsms and headstrongs websites the more I want and confused I get. and sorry @stronghammer but I don't necessarily like the blue shock bodies on my quicksand. the custom color option is an additional $300!

 

I had the factory rear springs and shocks for over 3 years after I bought my Icons. I just upgraded in December to Alcan rear springs.

 

thanks. only problem is I want to lift around 2" and keep my factory rake. if I lift the rear with a leaf pack I assume I would need new shocks? excuse my ignorance its my first truck. I've probably typed that last sentence on tacomaworld a hundred times.

 

ive been looking at the bilstien 6112 kit or fox stage 2 from headstrong. both with LR uca's. $2000ish for fox, $1600 ish for the billies. Headstrong did inform me the new 6112's for the 3rd gen was just released. any opiions on either of these?

Both are great options for your intended use. I have the OME and would go with billies if I was going to do it again. To me 400 more for fox sounds pretty good, but if you are only going to do a limited amount of light off road then there really is not a point to spend the extra $$. The billies will serve your purpose just fine!

I wish I could hold off on actually paying the money that long...I can live with the wait at this time.

 

yep. that's with headstrong 3 aal. they pm'd me the other day letting me know they would have the 6112's in stock soon
