They always had the best concert shirt...and still do! Hold on to it because it is a collectors item.

At great risk of any hope of developing and maintaining any metal street-couch cred, i have a 90's guilty pleasure group that I absolutely love:

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9dDJ21ZRElc

Fun fact: Rob Dickenson, lead singer for Catherine Wheel, is related to Bruce Dickenson (cousins or something like that).

Sabbath factor nils this argument. Original Sabbath is the best music I've ever heard. So Ozzy wins by proxy. But as far as singers. Dio is the Aretha Franklin of men singing wizard and dragon tunes. He's untouchable.

I grew up with these dudes. It's a dated sound from 96-2001ish era. They were fucking rad and Ben the guitarist had riffs for days. I loved this band cause it was the only local legit local metal I'd ever seen.

I've got a lot to learn about the newer stuff. I don't want to be stuck in the '70's and '80's, even though I will always love those decades.

My neighbor has been permanently stuck in the 70's/early 80's and only listens to Pink Floyd...over and over and over. It's ALL he listens to. I keep telling him there is a whole world of music out there...and it's huge. I don't ever want to be like him.

Don't take me the wrong way...Floyd has it's place but I gotta be in the mood for it.

Yeah. I listen to stuff other than metal but I got an eclectic taste too. I love Grails. The new album Chalice Hymnal is amazing. I also love Earth - Angels of Darkness, Demons of light Volume 1. It's way slow..but it's my chillin music. Causa Sui is amazing instrumental stoner space rock...I never got into rap or hip hop..and I don't hate on anyone's music even if it's pop country. It's like anything else..I like what I like, you like what you like, and I prefer to hang out with people who don't suck.

    Here is some spacey delight...
