The backing plate I believe is the only side specific part.

I'm thinking its 02. But there are 2 different types a "N" type and "S" type. How do I know which goes to my radiator? And there's 3 different pressure ratings.

Also why does it stop at 2001? Difference in radiators?

Yeah the bearing is pressed into the backing plate and then that onto the axle.

I think I found my answer. Difference in the shape of the cap; really had to dig for this shit all for a $30 cap.

Still curious why they said up to 2001. Aren't all 1st gen radiators (v6, 4x4 height) the same?

After finding a boot torn on my passenger cv and hearing a loud popping noise I decided to replace and went with napa axle. After replacing and into about a 15 min drive I am still hearing this popping noise from the passenger side while turning left or going over speed bumps. Does the angle of my cv look like it's too much and causing the axle to bind or should I be looking elsewhere? IMG_0305.jpgIMG_0304.jpg IMG_0307.jpgIMG_0309.jpg

Look else where, pretty sure my angles are worse than yours and I have no popping

Yes! Can't wait to see how the headlight hoops look on a TG once mounted up. Not that I really looked all that hard but I haven't seen anyone else with them and I was thinking of making some up for mine in the future.

I can't even tell if the boots are rubbing or not because the inners are all scrunched up.

    I took it off.

My hoops are a little extreme.
    Pretty crazy huh.

I took my sway bar out. I've replaced a bunch of worn parts I found on my search. Upper and lower ball joints, steering rack bushings, outer tie rods, and steering rack guide. :fistbump:

Pretty sure the lca bushings are toast, but like I said I wanna run a go pro under there to be sure. I took a quick video this morning before work and there is def some play in the one bushing I shot. We will see. Should be a fun project for the spring
