    Not centering. I don't want to take away from the tube look. So the plates are going to be behind the tube. I know it makes a pocket for dirt, water and rust but I'm ok with that. I'll just try and wash them out as much as I can.

    Yup. :thumbsup: I'm going to try and get my battery relocated soon then start on that. I'm also adding the plate to the bumper since I'm going to tie the engine cage to my front bumper to help with the support for the winch plate.

    Why not just put the plate on the outside? Use thin material and you could "wrap it" almost around the tubing.
