Thanks for the input. The second gen photo is what I want to do. Basically just between the fender flairs at the same height as my high clearance rear bumper. Thanks.

It's the pace series. Payed $1350 out the door with carpet and drop down front window.

    Hi all- loving this thread!

Has anyone done a canopy in a color other than quicksand? Just ordered a snugtop rebel with all the outdoorsman features, and to break from the mold I'm thinking about calling the dealer back and telling them to paint it dark green instead of color match. Would match my green canoe I'll be toting around frequently, and in my head it seems like it would contrast well with the quicksand. Thoughts?

I'm shopping around for shells now. I like the idea of a different color on the shell as well. My current plan is to order without paint and have it Line-x'd, so it'll match (give or take) the fender flares on my OR.

I like that idea too, debated on the ARE overland but Snugtop priced out cheaper than the ARE. I think all Line-x would look great.

need to learn more about this stuff
it wasn't this guy. i am in Southern California. Also, this guy says his panels are done with a wrap. the one i saw was rough bedliner type spray. and he had also done the front and it had a big bumper grill bar guard that was sprayed in the rough bedliner spray. this looks a lot more clean. hopefully i see it again sometime. doubt i will, but i'll try and snap a pic. i didn't get the pic because when i pulled up alongside the guy was getting in and was looking at me. was an older mexican guy. didn't seem like the type to be on TW.

Seen a quicksand with a black topper and IMO it looks like shit. I'll try and get a picture the next time I see it around.

Thanks man that'd be great. Concept in mind and the actual end product can be totally different.

I'm still undecided as well. Here is my 5 minute photoshop hackjob. I can't remember who's truck/photo this is, or I'd give credit:
    quicksand leer photoshopped wfB.jpg

Edit: also had this one that I saved from someone else on here, I personally don't like the gelcoat black as much as the matte:

Had this thing for about a week now and haven't even gotten to drive except home from the dealership. My wife stole it and I've had the mini van all week. :(

So I picked these wheels up tonight for $400 and can't decide on if I wanna resale or put them on the tacoma. Hmmm

I'm wondering if I can stuff some 255/75r16 on a stock Sport or maybe 255/80r16. Time to search. Yes I kinda like the idea of 10" wide tires. Pizza cutter skates.

I've also wondered if 16" wheels look funny being so small... ugh

Looks nice. Are those the 16 or 17" wheels?

If you can remove the faux beadlock I think they'd look pretty good.
