No I wheel with mine also. But I also feel more comfortable with it on as I have driven with it of and on.

I welded my bolt on kit and it will stay on the truck forever.

No idea about weakening the frame, but if you're worried, there are several bolt on options that don't require drilling.

 

drilling should be ok.
I drilled/bolted my sliders, but don't know if different from TG brand.

prime & paint the holes.
Paint frame where slider plates will be as well maybe just for extra layer of corrosion prevention. Of course let paint cure before assembly.

 

I would like a true bolt on kit but I already own these...lol

Had to say bye to old faithful today until July. Hopefully dad takes good care of her. Now to figure out what's first on the mod list with this deployment money.

 

Icon lift finally came in yesterday after being on backorder for a month! @allmotorrex I called DS M they were on back order for camburg's along with Wheelers too.... Picked up some TC's instead. Hopefully they'll do the job too. Anyone got time to help put this sucker on? Really don't want to go to a shop. I'll buy food and shit. (Don't have a jack or stands...)

I finished all of it now. That makes 2 full suspension swaps in the last month for me.. lol

 

Theres no hopefully to it. Total Chaos is a fantastic company and makes excellent parts. Only difference will be the 1.25" uniball in the Camburgs and the 1" uniball in the TC'S. Both are stainless FK balls though.

 

Haha Ive taken my suspension fully apart more times then I've changed my oil (possibly exaggerated). Once you figure out how it all comes apart and goes together, you realize how simple our suspension really is.

 

True story! The hardest part of the whole thing is the UCA bolts.

 

I don't think this weekend unfortunately i'll be in Chattanooga. Unless it was Sunday late afternoon. Ideally next weekend cause I got nothing going on.

Yeah, I was hoping to get the camburgs but it was like a month wait for upper UCA's too. Glad the only difference is the uniball. Did a ton of research before I pulled the trigger seem similar in performance.

Yeah, I could probably make that work to be honest if you would want too. Worked well over 40 hours with travel this week (ATL....) Just have to shoot my boss a note and tell em I'll take a half day or something which is (11am since i go in at 6.)
