    LOL!!! I couldn't skate for the life of me!!!

    I had a handme down Huffy that I started with, I stripped it down, used the main components of the bike, bought parts needed (i.e. I had a paper route), and modified it. I WAS trying to save cash from my paper route to get a GT Performer, but man that shi* was taking forever only having paper route money to spend with, LOL!!! I ended up with some frame that my older brother had bought and just transferred over parts to it (i.e. he wasn't into it like I was). I still had good times with it and the frame never cracked. Still don't know what it was???

    A friend of mine had a Mongoose. :thumbsup:

    Either way, it was definitely good times for sure!!! :thumbsup::fistbump::bikewhoops:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Pretty much the same with me then! By the time I was able to afford a GT, I had already started my "college path", but my money went to LOTS AND LOTS of COMPUTER SHI*, LMAO!!!

    Either way, I too wish I had bought my GT that I always wanted. :( Probably could have learned how to do more tricks or improve on ones I already knew how to do and variations of them!!! :oops::thumbsup::fistbump:

    Back in the day I had a GT Mach1 with redline 3 piece cranks and bearclaw pedals. Those pedals would destroy your shins if you ever slipped off of them. Then sadly one day that bike got stolen. So I picked up another GT but this time the Mach2. All aluminum frame. Still just wasn't the same as my Mach1. With the Mach1 I could easily bunny hop a trash can flat land with no hit leading up. With the Mach2 it was a struggle. Then I got a truck and sold my Mach2. I kick my self in the ass everytime I think about it.

    "Back In The Days I Was Young,Not A Kid Anymore"!:rofl:Wish i could remember who sang that song and dig up some pictures somewhere of the two GT's i had back in the early 80's!My neighbor at the time was sponsored and raced for GT BMX team and would always hook up us neighbors on our street with the extra bikes he had!Either give them to us or sell them cheap.I raced BMX for a few yr's before until i broke one and fractured one of my wrist's from crashing at different times!Miss being a kid like i'm sure we all do!:Dimage.jpg

    I'm leaving work at 11 to prep today. Gonna make a Walmart trip to possibly get a foam topper for the platform and a few other things.

    How's the back doing?

    It's not a for sure thing for me, but better to get clean now and not worry about a piss test a couple months down the road. I don't get tested where I'm at now but where I want to work will for sure test haha. I was looking at a job description for one of the listings for Northrop and it says you gotta get a security clearance soooo that's a 100% piss test haha
