well fellas, looks like I have a good chance at one of 2 white pro's out in temecula. apparently, i'm behind one guy who can't seem to figure out his finances and the truck will be delivered end of feb/first week of march. then the second one I'm first for. problem is, they're saying they're going to "try" to remove all the dumb crap added to the truck like the bed step, running tubes, mudguards, etc...pretty weird.

Might get a 2017 TRD OR someday, say in 15 years when it's darn near impossible to find a good First Gen anymore. Until then it's a waste of money ;)

    I negotiated differently-
Leave all that shit on there, but only pay sticker.
Take that stuff off and sell it - equals less than msrp.

    Nope.
I was out of state, said I wanted it.
They offered msrp plus $ for those assets.
I said no way, don't care about those, take em off. I said I'll pay sticker, make me a deal or I move on.

Dealer agreed, would have cost em more to remove those things. Even threw in floor mats, glass break sensor and TRD filter.

Had he truck shipped up for $500. Progressively selling those parts off getting me under msrp.

My dealer told me that they cant remove all the extra crap on the truck. Sold as is, Toyota mandates them to do so.

Might have to recheck with him now...

yeah i think it's bogus that they try to throw on all this extra crap that you don't want or need really. i guess they have to sell whatever the window sticker says. can't remove. had the same problem when i was buying my 16 trd sport and they wouldn't remove the tonneau cover.

Bad! You can get them from @Titus_Will_Toyota for close to $60. Its a pretty basic install if you have the right tools. 4 screws/bolts per mudflap. All dealer accessories are a rip off if you can install on your own.
