I don't know how they want me to change bulbs on the approach lights at the Modesto airport. Touloumne river is now a lake.

 

Saw this guy on 101N this morning in Redwood City. Sliders, ARB bumper and HID headlights. Oh and 50hp worth of stickers

The joys of sick days. Finally have some time to sand and clear coat my foggy ass headlights.

 

Anybody here run 285/75/17? Kinda on the fence between those and some durrty fives

 

I wish it was that easy.
Knowing how the fed govt works, I'll have to find someone to do a cost analysis and environmental impact study. Then get on a list for funding the bulb. By the time it's all said and done it'll be at the end of summer.

 

So much truth to this!

 

Though I agree that it does suck and stuff is hella bureaucratic...people also don't like the government blowing money on anything they want (even if it's just light bulbs) without some sort of plan in place or checks and balances. Can't win if you're losing.

 

Phils, future setup I think is. Better because all that space is available inside. I saw this guys build before, and it's a great setup for a FWC.

 

I'm on 285/75/16s

 

I am on my Tundra (kind the same size as Tacoma). I love the size and feel its a great compromise if you don't want a wide tire like a 35 and still fill the wheel wells.

 

I'm on 285/70/17s, just curious how much more filling those 34s are. Not too excited about needing a snorkel for dirty cincos

 

If I make it out to any of the upcoming mod days you guys are welcome to test fit a tire.
