    That sounds right. I'm at 25" now after carrying some extra sand bags and putting miles on them. Seems like the 2nd overload is worth about 1/2", since we're at about the same weight but I took out the 2nd add a leaf.

    Did you flip the u bolts? I did and am trying to figure out bump stops- running 2.5" energy suspension stops but they are probably too short.

    I have a 1/4 inch spacer in there now because I grabbed the ubolts from wheelers and I really need the specific ubolts from allpro due to washer/bolt size and clearance against the universal Timbren black platform that rests directly on the top plate

    I have about 300lbs constant and have the shackles flipped with the Dakar CS047R and am sitting at 25.5". Im considering removing on of the overload leafs to drop it a little. My front is at 22.5"

    So I'm guessing topper and diy platform with drawers will be enough weight for a good ride on dakars correct?

    Also if i do 4" maxtracs will i be level or do i need the extra leaf?

    I'm at 25.5 as well. But they should settle .75... if you just installed sit tight they will settle... then again I'm not running shackle flip. Look at @jberry813 latest pages on shackle flip and leaf opinions. Game changer

    Can't help with the maxtracs question but my truck rides great with just the topper. I usually have a few hundred pounds in my bed but lately I've been empty and it rides better than stock. I think the OME shocks make the biggest difference over stock.

    Ive had them on there for about 35k miles. I believe they have settled as much as they are going to settle.

    Installed full Dakar pack 3 days ago. No leaves removed or added. Drove 200+ miles. Have Leer 100R canopy and 20lbs of tools.

    Rides great! Firm but not stiff. Handles better in the curves. It might be the extra weight of the canopy, but I don't have the complaint of the rear being "harsh" like others on this site. I recommend it!

    Good to hear. I've got a similar shell to yours and will be installing my Dakar leafs shortly and people have me worried about it being overly stiff.

    I hear ya. That was my biggest concern, and the reason it took so long to decide on the rear suspension. Was really worried that my wife wouldn't want to ride in it with our newborn if it was harsh. But... it turned out GREAT and I recommend it!
