Looking for any specs on the Fox front suspension. Can't seem to find any info.

    Extended Length?

    Compressed Length?

    Spring Rate?

    Spring Length?

    Thanks for any help!

PS I actually called fox to ask for specs, and was told they don't have any of the specs...

I would look at what Fox has to offer aftermarket.. I think you will get a better suspension for less $$..

Good luck. If Fox doesn't have it not sure where you'll get it.
I know the Pro fox suspension is the bottom of the barrel of what fox makes.

Sorry couldn't tell from your profile, thought maybe you were interested in purchasing the same suspension that is on a Pro... or you were interested in purchasing said suspension from a Pro owner that upgraded. Several scenarios....

    Did you look here:

This is not true at all. The Pro Fox suspension is towards the top of Fox's offerings. 2.5 fronts and 2.5 rears with remote resis. Only thing more you can get from Fox is resis upfront and compression adjusters for both.

Fox offers 2.0 fronts and rear with and without resis which all fall below the Pro Fox kit

@40tude if Fox doesn't have the answer, I take it you've already tried calling Toyota correct?

If no one replies you could take your coilovers off and then remove the coil spring to measure the extended vs collapsed lengths. You'd get the spring length by doing that as well. As for the spring rate that I'm not sure an easy way to figure that out.

Another idea, Eibach most likely made the springs for the trd pro fox coilovers. If you can get a part # off of them you might be able to call and ask the dimensions and spring rate.

Yes I was just hoping to not do a disassembly if I could avoid it. Also the springs are rebadged with a Toyota part number...

    Thanks guys

Oh yeah. Because Toyota is going to buy one of the top model fox suspensions to put on an OEM truck. Let me tell you.

I thought the Pros were said to have fox 2.5 shocks...wouldn't the specs likely be very similar if not the same as a standard fox 2.5 shock?

If no one knows the specs to the TRD Pro Fox coilovers, how can you make an assessment on it being bottom/middle/top of the line?
I don't want to start an argument, but something to think about.

We know it's a Fox 2.5 and made for the Tacoma but that's about it. At least that's all I know about it.

I believe the front foxes are considered an internal bypass shock , and their aftermarkets are either monotube, or external bypass via remote reservoir

I want to know, because I would like to be able to purchase new coils with a slightly higher rate, after I install dual batts bumper etc etc. I also wouldn't mind getting an inch longer spring in there at the same time, if the shock length allows for it.
    Thanks again

They have a guy on the forums that was selling some pro shocks and he did the same as you went with a different spring rate but then ended up going with Kings

I may have emailed Eibach from my work email :anonymous: Waiting on a response... I'd be willing to bet they made the springs.

Actually found it on TW haha. He might need more. Him and I both leave in 7 minutes so this may have to wait until tomorrow.
