    im making a rabbit trap for a guy at my school and i was wondering if i can make the trap with treated wood or will the rabbit not go in it if the wood is treated??

    They will as long as there is an easy meal in there. We catch em in treated woods traps quite a bit.

    Why not make it in untreated wood. That way you don't have to worry about the rabbit no falling for the bait, and when it rots out he come back to you for another one. Win win. ;)

    It'll work,b just check it everyday. They will chew it up in there is really the main problem. Not a big deal at first... but overtime it starts to mess up the trap.

    mmmm.... I love rabbit hot out of the grease.
