Was this wheel used? Just trying to get an idea on pricing..

I've got a buddy who wants $400 for a set of 5 TRD Beadlocks in black. They were on his FJ for a week before he took them off.

No, wheel was brand new, cheapest I have found for one so far new. Next cheapest was $225!

I'll take your buddies if you don't! Haha, I'm still looking for 3-4 more.

    Haha can't blame you there.

I am likely going to pull the trigger and order them in the next week or so but if you decide to sell just shoot me a price and we can see if we can work something out!

Good read. Of course this is just a comparison of one shock, not the whole line of shocks offered from each company. Still makes me lean towards fox over the billys. Like I posted earlier can get a whole set up w/ UCA's for cheaper than the kings or the new ads group buy. On a different note, is it hard to change out a spring on a coilover? If I can't get the 700lb from headstrong might just do it later.

We'll see. I may post them up just to see what offers I can get.

    I understand.

I'm not bidding but if you decide on a price I'm definitely interested.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
If there's 26 tires in your garage, You must be doing something right. :D Buy some of these tires!!! OBO!

from what I've read fox uses eibach springs so you just swap them out when ordered from any company.

With a wall mounted spring compressor easy. With the rental crap you get from the stores, I'll never touch them again. I would rather use the weight of the truck to pull them off and on.

Most places will want to charge you $100 or more to swap them.

Ok thanks. What about those you can buy from Amazon? $40 bucks or so. I assume that might be like the rental stuff? No worries dither way. Not getting the bumper/winch until the end of the year at the earliest. Gonna see if any group buys happen for fox. If not when I get my tires might go ahead and order and get ready for y'alls next mod day. Have to say though, from what I've seen y'all drink some fancy beer

My 4runner buddy just used one of those cheap brackets to swap springs. But he said it was scary as fuck lmao. I dont know how common it is for them to fail/user error, but if it does you're at best having a bad day. Might be staying in a hospital for a while or worse.

Ok. Guess I'll spend an extra 60 or so and let someone else do it.

I guess its a whole different animal than the 5100's or ome when u can use the weight of the truck to seat everything right?

Thats how i did my 5100's. If the tension is released unexpectedly that will be the least of ur worries cuz ur truck just fell off that jack/jack stand
