My truck makes a weird noise too now !
Like a clicking or like a pen or small item is moving around the glove compartment but I checked everything and no idea where is coming from ...

Yup. Id be willing to bet its just the LCA's. No biggie. My question is are the holes in the lower control arms for drainage? If so are there going to be issues down the road with plugging the holes?

Was the TRD emblems mirrored on the right side of the truck?

They don't block all the holes. They leave drain holes.

After a brain fart.......yes, I guess they are mirrored. I over thunk your question. I have them on both sides.

First nice weekend here in VA since I got my new truck in Dec:

Oil and filter change (~2,900 miles just because). Not too bad, high clearance makes it much easier than a BMW or VW. Of course I underestimated draining 6 quarts of oil from ~12" and splashed oil all over the place . Previous posts were right, checking oil on this things blows. (FWIW my wife's Prius is the same. I'm thinking about etching a hash pattern on the dip stick to see if that helps?)

Factory filter (5 pack from Amazon, WAY cheaper than BMW or VW) and Motul 8100 Eco-lite 0W20 - Motul (~$10/qt by the case, not cheap, but I like Motul for my bike and hell it's cheaper than VW 505 spec Castrol at $18/qt)

Gave it a proper wash and Used my fathers method: Hard to find 1/2 a day to detail a whole car, so I do a few panels each time I wash, thus the whole thing gets a fresh coat every 3-4 months.

Didn't like the idea of the smell of Fluid-Film, but want to stave off the salt roads here so I spent ~45 min and got ~1/3 of the undercarriage bits sprayed and wiped down with this:
Acf-50 Anti-Corrosion: Amazon - Shop Low Prices & Top Brands‎ smells not bad, a little stronger than WD-40. Sprays on and wipe off excess, even doing it on my back not too messy. A little went a long way, I should be able to do the rest in ~90 minutes and with less than 2 cans total. We'll see how long it lasts?

Got the front buttoned up. Have one side to do in the rear tomorrow and I'll be finished. Thank you eel river IPA for making this install possible.

Installed a Grillcraft grill on my 2017 TRD OR (what a pain in the ass that was), debadged and had the driver/passenger windows tinted to match the factory tint...
