I bought them with about half tread and put 10k on them. The tire pictured is worn from misalignment but the ones from the rear still have 1/4 tread. Basically I would expect 40k+ If rotated regularly.

the brake lines are the hardest part of the install and they really aren't that bad. on mine the new brake lines didn't really fit as they just went through the keeper hole. I just put a e clip on them so they wouldn't pull through

    1. You are running a 5" in the front which lessens the likelihood of rubbing on 33's.
    2. It looks like you've trimmed both the front and back of your fender liner
    3. You are running an aftermarket UCA which pulls the wheel back in the well. If anything you'd rub on the CM.

I hear you. I was just making sure people know why you aren't rubbing. It's almost a definite that he will rub without some trimming.

I just went through this today. I'm trying to get my rear end up to 2-2.5" and went through 3 different people to get the answer. Basically, at 2" you'll be fine with something like Bilstein 5100's but anything more and you'll need a custom rear shock. Not even Icon makes something that properly works above 2" in the rear with Tacoma.

Bilstein makes shocks to work with a number of lifts.

    33-230337= 2-3.5"
    BE5-B110-T5= 4-5"
Bilstein 5125's will work with your lift.

Thank you for this. I'm going to see if I can find these in stock. Otherwise, I spoke with Icon again and even though their 2.0 rear shocks are only rated for 1.5" lifts it seems as though they have nearly the same extension and measurements as the Bilstein 5125's. I'm guessing this means they would work as well.

    You're welcome!
Wheelers should have them in stock, it doesn't say sold out. Probably about another $20 or so for shipping.
I wish Icon made rear shocks for 5"+. Haha

You are running 5" in the rear?! Yeah, I really don't want to drop another $2K on Icon stuff all around if I don't need to. I'm sure my 5100's will be OK until I can get replacements as long as I don't go crazy off road. The 5100's have a full extension of 23" compared to the 5125's at 24".

I hear you. I have the Icon 2.5 Coilovers + Res Rears on order right now. I'm trying to figure out whether the Bilsteins are a viable alternative. I really thought Spindles + blocks were going to be it but here I am :)

6" actually, 4" from All Pro expos & a 2" block. I'm gonna try to add my 3° shims today & that may give me a hair more.
