    online someplace in SoCal. Just opened the pop & lock box but there is no handle. It says it's back-up camera ready but I have to buy a handle too?

    The 8521 uses the stock handle. The PnL piece is just a locking device - electric, so you can hook it into the truck's locking system - great if you have keyless.

    But when you select the options on the PnL website it says with camera (8521) or without (8520.) Why give the option if there is no difference that I can see of?

    Wrong, apparently - my bad (see link in Dr. Mike's post below). 5300 is manual-with-separate-key, though, not tied into trucks electric system.

    PnL product lookup states that this is for an 05-08 tacoma. The 8520 is the same without the camera option. I still don't understand why they give the camera option when it's obvious once you open the package it has nothing for it.

    Unfortunately when I selected my details (08 tacoma) this came up for me. it should work either way because I'm either going to get the 5300 as well or an 09-10 tacoma handle with the camera opening.

    Ok I purchased a 2010 handle with the camera slot yesterday. I am now going to attempt to install the camera, pop n lock 8521, and handle. Lets see how it goes.
